Scotland’s biggest translations agency, Lingo24 - specialists in marketing, technical and website translation - has recruited a top Sales Trainer from search engine giants Yahoo!.

After three years as European Sales Trainer for Yahoo!, Sarah Baines has joined the Lingo24 ranks, bringing extensive experience in delivering bespoke training solutions for multilingual and multicultural sales teams.

With international operations in San Francisco, Romania, Panama, France, Spain and New Zealand, Lingo24 is an ideal home for Sarah Baines’ skills in respecting cultural differences while facilitating communication, and sharing best practice, across geographical locations.

Lingo24’s latest appointment is also testament to the appeal of working in small companies with increased flexibility and responsiveness to change.

‘This is a very exciting opportunity for me and I am thrilled about joining such an innovative and forward-thinking organisation,’ said Sarah. 'Lingo24 offers a unique chance to be part of an SME which is growing rapidly on a global scale.’

‘Attracting someone of Sarah's calibre is a massive coup for Lingo24,’ said Lingo24 founder Christian Arno. ‘How much translation services cost depend on the quality of the overall service we offer and Sarah’s experience in new media and big company environments will help us deliver first class customer care and ensure quality underpins everything we do’.

‘As a SME that is growing internationally at a rapid pace, it is exciting to see that we can attract top people from the world’s biggest companies. And it just goes to show that in the current economy, SMEs can compete with the major players for the top talent.’

Christian Arno and Sarah Baines are available to comment on the above appointment, and also the strategies Lingo24 employs for effective multilingual and cross-cultural staff training and management.
